How to uninstall Imaging PVR

How to uninstall

Note: Do not attempt to manually uninstall or remove Imaging PVR by dragging folders to the Recycle Bin. Doing so can cause problems when you try to reinstall the product.

1. Close the Imaging PVR software if it is running

2. Go to the Windows Control Panel...

Windows 7 or earlier: This can be found on the start menu.

Windows 8+: Click on the Settings icon you can find by: a) swiping the right side of the screen then clicking on the settings button OR b) Hover the cursor over the top right corner, then move down and click on the settings button. OR c) press Windows Key + I. Then click on Control Panel

3. In Control panel...

Windows XP or earlier: Click on Add or Remove Programs

Windows Vista, 7, 8+: Click on Uninstall A Program.

4. In the list of programs that come up look for Imaging PVR, select it, and click Uninstall or Change/Remove (XP) above the list of programs.

4.1 If a dialog asks you to confirm uninstall of Imaging PVR click Yes.

5. Please fill out questionnaire that pops up, tell us if you think something is wrong, we want to know.

6. Troubleshooting Uninstall: If the install is become corrupted it might not uninstall, download Imaging PVR again, and in the install menu click "Repair", then uninstall it using the instructions shown above.

6.1 Removal Tool: If the install just won't uninstall use the Imaging PVR Removal Tool.
